Welcome. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Georgia State University in 1994 and have spent more than three decades helping individuals navigate healing, growth, and recovery.

I am deeply passionate about this work and consider it a privilege to walk alongside courageous and creative people as they move toward greater wholeness and well-being. My approach is grounded in both professional training and personal experience. Having done my own healing work around family-of-origin challenges, I understand the vulnerability and courage that meaningful change requires.

In my practice, I draw from evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic coping skills. I believe healing happens when people are supported in reconnecting with their inner wisdom, developing practical tools for daily life, and cultivating self-compassion.

My own recovery journey has also been enriched through meditation practice and the supportive community of Dharma Recovery, experiences that inform my appreciation for mindfulness, resilience, and personal transformation.

Today, I enjoy a full and meaningful life with my chosen family in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I enjoy walking in nature, kayaking, and enjoying a quiet evening by a fire.

I look forward to accompanying you on your own journey toward healing and growth.
